About L'Avenir Country Lodge
L'Avenir Country Lodge is set within a tranquil valley beneath the commanding Simonsberg Mountains, showcasing the very best of the Stellenbosch Winelands. This intimate boutique estate boasts sweeping views across vineyards and water features and is positioned just beyond the historic town of Stellenbosch, offering both seclusion and easy access to the region’s attractions.
Guests are invited to enjoy a range of thoughtfully curated experiences, including a lively boules court, a rim-flow swimming pool with views over two of the estate’s three dams, and relaxed breakfasts served on the sun-drenched deck. A complimentary wine tasting is included, along with the pleasure of wandering through the vineyards, while winter evenings are best spent enjoying a glass of red wine beside the fireplace.
Stellenbosch Accommodation
The lodge offers a selection of accommodation comprising three Classic Rooms, four Platinum Rooms, and two Icon Rooms. Each room is equipped with air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, while the two Icon Rooms further distinguish themselves with private decks and individual splash pools.

Fabulous location, friendly staff and clean, generous sized rooms. We enjoyed our walks round the vineyard and a chance to sample the excellent wine. The only downside was the evening food offering which is limited and guests should plan to eat outside. The overall experience was great and we would definitely come back.
