About Herb Cottage
The Herb Cottage can be found in on the lower slopes of the mountain in Magoebaskloof on a farm abundant in avocados. We welcome you to come and enjoy the surrounding beauty with us.
Self Catering Accommodation
The Herb Cottage has space for five people. One bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed, and has an en-suite bathroom and open onto the patio with the pool and garden view. The second bedroom has two three-quarter beds and an en-suite bathroom. This room is wheelchair friendly.
There is a sitting area with a single bed and a well equipped kitchen.
The cottage has its own swimming pool and braai facilities. Here you can enjoy a lovely walk along the river.
The Farm
The farm grows avocados, macadamias and herbs and is surrounded by indigenous forest, disappearing up the mountainsides into the mist. You can walk around and explore the area or visit the Glass Art Studio which is centrally located at the workshop.
Please Note
It is not recommended to bring a car with low profile tyres on our 2.5 km stretch of dirt road, but normal sedans will manage easily.

My parents came back from their stay absolutely glowing with joy. They couldn’t stop talking about how peaceful and relaxing it was—the perfect escape for them to slow down and truly unwind.
