About Gecko Cottages
Gecko Cottages are situated in the small village of Hectorspruit. Here you will be able to walk the five minutes to the local bottle store / butchers and corner shop or to the historical Buffalo Hotel for a meal. This is a quaint village, where you will find people jogging, riding their bikes, walking their children or dogs in relative safety.
The cottages are a 20 minute drive to the Kruger Park, either by Crocodile Bridge (28km) or Malelane Gate (20km). Additionally Swaziland is a 30 minute drive via Jeppe Reef Border post and a 20 minute drive via Lebombo (Mozambique) Border Post.
Accommodation
Gecko Cottages offer accommodation in separate units, The Annex, Hyena, Wild Dog and The Main Gecko Cottage.
The owners of the cottage live on the property s they are close enough if you need assistance or any advice on the area, however, once within your own gardens you feel peacefully alone and private.The units have a microwave and tea / coffee making facilities.
