Set within the untamed beauty of the Waterberg Mountain Region, Eclectic Safari Lodge provides a refined and private escape for those in search of space, tranquillity, and authentic connection to nature. Surrounded by indigenous trees in the serene Rooiberg area, the lodge offers a calm, uninterrupted retreat where time slows and the wilderness takes centre stage.

At its heart, the main lodge offers an inviting, open-plan environment. A comfortable lounge, dining area, and bar gather around a central fireplace and open seamlessly onto a spacious viewing deck, creating a natural flow between indoor and outdoor living. From this central space, meandering walkways lead to four separate guest suites, each discreetly positioned to ensure privacy while maintaining easy access to shared areas.

Accommodation

Each suite features a king-size bed dressed in high-quality linen and towels. The open-plan design combines simplicity with natural finishes, while large sliding doors connect directly to a private deck, allowing uninterrupted views and fresh air, protected by discreet insect screens.

Bathrooms are appointed with generous walk-in showers and deep bathtubs positioned to take full advantage of the surrounding bushveld vistas. Inside the suite, thoughtful touches include a fireplace for chilly evenings, a ceiling fan for warm days, a well-stocked mini bar (available on request), and a tea and coffee station complete with French press, premium teas, and fresh milk.

On Site Facilities

The boma deck offers a traditional fireside setting for storytelling and stargazing, while a dedicated braai area is ideal for open-flame dining. Between safaris, guests can relax beside the swimming pool or in the shaded outdoor lounge, each space designed to provide both comfort and a connection to the wild surroundings.

Breakfast & Dining

Dining at Eclectic Safari Lodge is generous, unhurried, and crafted with the land in mind. Begin with morning coffee and homemade rusks before your game drive, return to a satisfying brunch, enjoy a light lunch, and end the day with a three-course dinner beneath the stars. Menus are tailored to personal preferences, with all dietary requirements gladly catered for. A selection of drinks is available for purchase and billed at check-out.

Wildlife Experiences

Twice-daily game drives, at dawn and dusk, offer guests the opportunity to explore the reserve with experienced guides. Along the way, enjoy coffee stops or sundowners in the bush, while gaining insight into the land, its wildlife, and the hidden details that bring the safari to life.
