Don’s Rest is a modern and tastefully decorated apartment located within walking distance of the beach and conveniently close to the BP garage in Ramsgate Central. The property is arranged over two levels, with a permanent resident on the upper floor and the lower level available for holiday rentals.

The apartment sleeps seven guests in three well-appointed bedrooms. The main and second bedrooms each feature a queen-size bed, while the third bedroom contains three single beds. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, and a second bathroom is also available, both fitted with a bath, shower, toilet, and basin. Quality linen and bath towels are provided, although guests are asked to bring their own beach towels.

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher, making meal preparation easy and convenient. Adjacent to the kitchen, a dining area comfortably seats six people. A separate laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer adds further convenience.

The lounge is spacious and features a comfortable suite for six guests, along with a flat-screen television, unlimited Wi-Fi, and the full DStv package. From the lounge, doors open onto a large deck with breathtaking views of the sea. This outdoor space includes a Jacuzzi with seating for six, as well as a gas braai and a kettle braai for relaxed entertaining.

Security is well considered with an alarm system, walled boundaries, and an automated entrance gate. The property provides a carport and additional parking, accommodating a total of three vehicles. A fully automated generator ensures continuous power during load-shedding, and a 25,000-litre backup water supply is plumbed into the system to cover any water outages.

Location & Attractions

Ramsgate Beach lies just 70 metres from the property, and the main swimming beach with its tidal pool can be reached either by a short stroll along the scenic Ramsgate Ramble or via Henry Road. A variety of shops and restaurants are located close by, all within comfortable walking distance.
