About The Cheriton Guest House

The Cheriton Guest House offers accommodation in Cape Town with warm, friendly service in a century old home in Seaforth, in the historic naval town of Simon's Town. The well preserved, elegant Victorian house is set against a beautiful mountain backdrop, overlooking False Bay. The Cheriton is well-positioned in its proximity to lovely beaches, walks, diving adventures, boat tours, and the South African Navy.

Accommodation

Lounge by the pool under the warm African sun in the tranquil terraced garden or take a five-minute walk to the famous Boulders Beach penguin colony. After a relaxing day, enjoy sundowners and canapés in the “Just Nuisance” pub.

Dining

A continental spread and a hot breakfast is served each morning in the dining area and on the “Captain's Bridge”. Guests can request lunch, picnic baskets and dinner experiences prepared by our resident Chef Nicole. All dietary needs can be accommodated.

This establishment deserves 4 stars because the service here is friendy and amazing. The rooms are simply luxerious and you feel as though you are spending the night in a truly unforgettable place. Wonderful beds, an old style honesty bar for you to enjoy and an awesome jacuzzi! For breakfast you can enjoy a full english breakfast [none of that cereal ony nonsense], whilst using using their telescopes to view the lighthouse from the Cheriton. If you like visiting museums, Dirks collection of all thing challenges many of the museums in Simons town. Im not giving any more secrets of the Cheriton away, you have to experience it for yourself! I really recommend this place and in winter you can enjoy the jacuzzi,even in the cold!
