denBosch is a rare retreat where the call of birds, the grandeur of the Outeniqua mountains, and the distinctive charm of the Cape Fynbos come together to create a peaceful sanctuary. Far removed from the rush of modern life, it offers a place of quiet escape within the secluded countryside of Rheenendal, Knysna.

Self-Catering Accommodation

Our four elegantly designed cottages blend effortlessly with the natural surroundings, combining refined comfort with the raw beauty of the landscape. Each cottage provides uninterrupted views of the mist-draped Outeniqua mountains and the thick canopy of the Knysna forest, allowing guests to feel an authentic connection to the environment.

The interiors are created with both warmth and tranquillity in mind. Every cottage features a welcoming living area with seating indoors and out, and is fitted with a ceiling fan to provide relief during the heat of summer.

A well-appointed kitchenette includes a gas stove top, a coffee machine, a refrigerator, and essential utensils for preparing simple meals. The bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed dressed in pure cotton linen, while the modern bathroom is equipped with a spacious walk-in shower and soft cotton towels.

In the cooler months, a fireplace ensures a cosy atmosphere, while evenings can be enjoyed in a traditional wood-fired hot tub beneath the stars. Each unit also has its own Weber for relaxed braais on the stoep. For convenience, a Smart TV with access to online apps, free Wi-Fi, and reliable off-grid power guarantee both entertainment and peace of mind, even during times of loadshedding.
