Situated in the heart of the Central Drakensberg Valley, Champagne Valley Resort commands magnificent views of Cathkin Peak, Champagne Castle, Monks Cowl and Dragon Peaks. Accommodation

Guests are accommodated in fully furnished, self catering chalets designed to provide comfort and convenience throughout your stay in the Drakensberg. Each chalet enjoys uninterrupted mountain vistas and has been thoughtfully equipped with modern amenities to ensure a relaxed and enjoyable experience.

The chalets comprise either three or four bedrooms, complemented by three bathrooms. An open plan kitchen flows into the dining and living areas, creating a welcoming space for family gatherings. Each unit also features a private patio fitted with outdoor furniture and braai facilities. For added comfort, the chalets include a fireplace, heaters and fans, as well as a television with a hospitality bouquet DStv package.

The resort offers a comprehensive range of on site facilities. Guests may enjoy swimming pools, miniature golf and a life sized chess board, along with tennis courts and a children’s jungle gym with trampolines. A communal braai area provides a pleasant setting for shared meals, while the games room features table tennis, a pool table, a dart board and additional entertainment options. Wi Fi internet access is available at an additional charge.

Activities

Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool, a friendly game of mini golf or tennis, catch and release fishing at the dam, or practice their swing at the driving range. Children are well catered for with a secure outdoor play area and mini zip line, while the giant chessboard and selection of indoor games ensure entertainment in any weather.

Location

The Drakensberg Valley is home to the acclaimed Drakensberg Boys Choir and Falcon Ridge Birds of Prey. The area is also known for its excellent restaurants, delis and coffee shops, offering a variety of dining experiences.
