Bohemian Bushveld Retreat is a stunning tranquil self-catering lodge conveniently situated in the gorgeous Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate in Limpopo Province, South Africa. Hoedspruit is a small, unique, conservation orientated town nestled between the Kruger National Park and the Blyde River Canyon and offers many interesting tours and activities.

Private and exclusive, Bohemian Bushveld Retreat comes fully equipped with all the amenities you need for a tranquil break in the bush. There are two rooms; the main bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed, is air-conditioned and has an en-suite with a bath and outside shower. The second bedroom is upstairs and is furnished with a double bed. There is also a bathroom upstairs with a shower.
The lodge comes with its own utensils and we add some luxurious finishing touches to make you feel completely at home. You needn’t bring anything but clothes, food and the people whose company you enjoy. Families love the chance to unwind while their kids cycle or walk and investigate the many insect species in the area and groups of friends enjoy the solitude and the opportunity to catch up.
Bohemian Bushveld Retreat’s lodge is very secure and quiet. Leave your door unlocked and enjoy the silence. No noise, no speeding and plenty of safe spaces for you and your children to appreciate everything nature has to offer.
The Area
Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate is the ultimate African bush experience on your terms. Giraffe, zebra, impala, waterbuck and leopard roam free and we have secluded game drive routes situated within the estate for those who fancy exploring their surroundings.
If you want to let nature come to you, why not relax on your patio or take binoculars to one of the elevated bird hides that rest beside the dam on the estate? Gorgeous views and sundowners with the bush whispering on all sides will soon see your stress slipping away.
