Black Horse Estate offers the perfect setting to celebrate your special day. Located within the picturesque Magalies landscape in Gauteng, South Africa, the estate offers breath-taking views of the Zeekoeihoek valley.

We pride ourselves in making sure you are the only one in the spotlight, by hosting only one wedding a weekend, while offering rustic, French provincial architecture, terrace gardens and green meadows with black horses. The craft brewery and distillery add a stunning backdrop to your celebration. Perfect for creating lasting memories.

Venues

Our Brookside chapel truly allows nature to take the stage, surrounded by pecan nut trees and lush greenery. Inside the chapel offers rustic wooden ceilings, combined with big glass windows, enchanting decorative lighting and a cosy fireplace which allows for love to bloom.

There is something so exciting about cocktail hour and even more so about a loaded harvest table or exquisite canapés, offering some culinary creativity to inspire your guests One thing we know about weddings is that a drink always goes down perfectly, with great gin and tonic cocktails from our Gin cart, Beer and Ginger Berry on-tap to flavoured waters for the non-drinker there are lots of options for your guests to enjoy while you create a collection of your most prized memories.

Start your whirlwind romance as the sun slips away behind the Magalies mountains. Our banquet hall with large glass doors creates a spacious outdoor feel. The wrought iron chandeliers light up our beautiful hand-crafted solid wood tables that are set with the finest cutlery, glassware and stunning flower bouquets. Views of the large, fully operated brewery and distillery behind three-story glass windows, sets the perfect backdrop to any out-of-the-ordinary celebration.
