Kraal Cottage

The Kraal Cottage sleeps 2. The Kraal Cottage is a lovingly restored cottage, which once was the home of a cattle herder. The Kraal was used as a stopover point for cattle on their way over the mountains to be sold at the market in Wellington. Today the Kraal cottage is a self-catering, one bedroom. Dogs allowed

Restio Cottage

Restio Cottage, sleeps 4. Restio Cottage is situated on the Bainskloof Pass and is an eclectically decorated cottage with2 bedrooms en-suite. It is a front verandah from where you can gaze at the views of surrounding mountains and starts. Try and spot one of our rescue tortoises which have been released in and around this cottage.

Wild Olive Cottage

Wild Olive cottage is situated on the Bainskloof Pass and is a cosy 2 bedroom cottage with wonderful views of the Ceres Mountains relax in the hammock on the stoep and watch the mountains turn pink at sunset and then dine outside under a million sparkling stars. Dogs allowed

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
