Altevrede Olive Farm presents a refined off-the-grid retreat, set on a thriving olive estate. Located a short 15-minute drive from Barrydale, yet offering an experience that feels far removed from the noise of daily life. The farm itself is fully operational, producing high-quality olives and cold-pressed olive oil from its extensive groves of mature trees.

Self-Catering Accommodation

The farm cottage is designed to accommodate up to four guests in comfort and privacy, making it ideal for families or two couples travelling together. Take in the expansive views across the valley from your private wood-fired Jacuzzi, unwind by the warmth of the indoor fireplace, and experience luxurious rest beneath the vast Karoo sky.

The main bedroom features a double bed and includes an en-suite bathroom appointed with a bathtub, a separate shower, a hand basin, and a toilet. The second bedroom is furnished with twin beds, which may be converted to a king-size bed on request. This room also has its own en-suite bathroom, fitted with a shower, a hand basin, and a toilet.

The open-plan interior is tastefully arranged with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area suited for leisurely meals, and a comfortable lounge where guests can relax in the evenings. Outdoors, a covered patio with built-in braai (BBQ) facilities provides the perfect setting for alfresco dining, accompanied by sunsets over the mountain ridges.
