About Airport Game Lodge
Stay for a few days and do some exclusive Tours which are based right here at Airport Game Lodge.
Although situated a mere 10 km north of Johannesburg International Airport, the secluded Airport Game Lodge combines the solitude of the African bush with the convenience of modern-day living. The lodge is ideally located for business and leisure travellers passing through Johannesburg.
Owing to its location the lodge is the perfect start or end to any African tour. Airport Game Lodge is furthermore ideally situated for travellers with early departures or late arrivals. It is also suitable for day visitors - day rooms are available between connecting flights - as well as travellers wanting a 'home base' while exploring the treasures of Southern Africa.
KEMPTON PARK ACCOMMODATION
Luxury accommodation is provided in well-appointed rooms in a landscaped garden, overlooking the untouched bush and Rietvlei stream.
Each room comes complete with a shower, separate toilet, and hairdryer, Internet telephone jack, and a smart TV which allows virtually unlimited viewing of channels via internet including your own accounts as if you were at home.
We also have some interleading rooms available for families traveling together

Breakfast is included and served in the restaurant area, other meals are available on request.

There is complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the lodge. A luggage and car storage facility is available (with several regular guests who “store” their vehicles safely here). Airport Game Lodge is also a Green Friendly Lodge (solar geysers, energy saver lighting, recycling, linens, and towels washed with biodegradable detergents).

I had a fantastic four-night stay at Airport Bird Game Lodge while attending OutdoorX. The airport transfer and in-house shuttle were super convenient, and Judy – friendly, reliable, and full of energy – made every ride enjoyable. Leyla handled my booking with care, and the rest of the team, from reception to the chefs, went above and beyond to make me feel at home. The rooms were comfortable, the lodge peaceful, and every meal was delicious – Chef Palesa, Chef Harry, and Chef Monica all deserve a shout-out. Truly a gem in Joburg!

Airport Bird & Game Lodge was a wonderful experience in MANY WAYS for our team. We flew in from various places while a few drove as they were close by. We were collected from the airport and the short distance to the venue was most welcome. The surrounding nature added to empowering the team as we felt more on holiday even though it was a time of “heavy duty” work. As a non-profit, we highly appreciated the value received for the costs incurred. I will highly recommend Airport Bird & Game Lodge.
