4teen on Hillcrest has one bedroom furnished with a double bed, standing fan and ample cupboard space. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower-over-bath, a toilet and a washbasin. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a bar fridge, stove and oven, microwave, and a kettle, as well as a breakfast bar with two stools. Mineral water, a diverse selection of warm beverages, and a welcome platter arranged according to guests dietary requirements is provided on arrival. The lounge features a sleeper couch that can accommodate a small child, and a flat-screen TV with Netflix. The cottage has a private patio with an outdoor table and chairs. Guests may access the cottage as well as the top part of the garden. A designated undercover parking space for one vehicle is available. Braai facilities are available on request. In the event of loadshedding the cottage is equipped with emergency lights. During loadshedding Wi-Fi is available from 18h00 to 22h00. A gas cooker and kettle are provided in the pantry in order to heat water for tea or coffee and a lighter is provided in the top drawer in the kitchen.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
