•	A cancellation fee of 15% of the gross rental amount will be levied if the booking is cancelled more than 6 (six) weeks prior to the anticipated arrival date. 
•	A cancellation fee of 50% of the total rental amount will be levied if the booking is cancelled between 4 (four) to 6 (six) weeks prior to the anticipated arrival date. 
•	A cancellation fee of 100% of the total rental amount will be levied if the booking is cancelled less than four weeks prior to the anticipated arrival date. 
•	Partial refunds may apply, depending on the ability to re-let the property for the applicable period at a similar rate. 
•	Rental is due for the entire period booked. No refunds will be permitted for early departures, delays in arrival or failure to arrive, or for any reason whatsoever. 
•	No house substitutions will be accepted after payment has been made and owners have been paid to secure the booking. 
•	In the event of force majeure, such circumstances include without limitation natural disasters or act of God; acts of terrorism; war; government act or orders; epidemics; pandemics or communicable disease; national or regional emergencies that are beyond either party’s reasonable control, the contract will be suspended for the entire period during which the force majeure occurrence continues. Guests will be able to postpone their booking for a similar, future period, during a similar season without any penalties and up to a 6 month period thereafter. Should a guest decide to rather cancel their booking, cancellation fees as per above will apply.

4 Cherrywood Lane is as self catering holiday home with five bedrooms, unmatched quality and exquisite features. Each bedroom has a King / Queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. There is an additional guest toilet. There are two bathrooms with a shower and three with a bath and shower. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything required for a comfortable self catering vacation. The large open plan concept provides a contemporary setting of privacy with an ease and grace for outdoor/indoor living and entertaining. Enjoy the magnificent ocean views from every room. There is a private pool and four undercover parking bays.

Why do I have to pay a deposit?

This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

Can I pay the deposit at month end?

That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

What is 3D Secure?

This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
