About Stage Door Restaurant
The Phoenix Hotel, which houses the Stage Door Restaurant, is the oldest in Port Elizabeth. History permeates every aspect of this institution, not least of all the small pub and restaurant, which has a loyal following of locals.
The atmosphere is fun and relaxed, even jovial. This is not for the easily offended, or for those looking to have a formal night out.
A sizeable bar at which to have pre-dinner beers or simply to unwind after a long day at work is a major drawcard! Live music is often on offer, creating a great vibe to accompany tasty grills and pub meals.
Specials are the order of the day. Kiddies’ options are also available. The Phoenix Hotel is good value for money.
