About Fishing in Port St Johns
Contact John Costello or Rod Hastier to arrange guided tours or tuition in this exciting discipline. Inland waters produce huge rainbow trout and estuaries offer perfect fly fishing opportunities.
The Mzimvubu river is one of South Africa's major rivers and November through to April thick muddy water pours out to sea. As autumn approaches the water clears and you can expect to catch grunter and kob. September and October are good months for garrick.
Port St Johns is a licensed launch site.
