About Waterfront Charters

Waterfront Charters is one of the original tenants of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, offering a wide range of scheduled boat trips and Table Bay cruises. With no less than seven vessels to choose from, they offer a range of activities suited for all: from the young to the young at heart. The founders of the business are still involved in the daily operations, and strive to provide unique fun filled experiences on the water. The vessels are situated on Quay 5 and North Quay right outside the Victoria Wharf Shopping Centre in the waterfront and provide the perfect interaction between the city and the working harbour.

Waterfront Charters offer their full selection of vessels for private charter; a luxurious state-of-the-art sailing catamaran, two purpose-built motorised catamaran, a family-friendly fun cruiser, a twin-mast sailing schooner and two RIBS – rigid-hulled inflatables for superb ocean safaris.

Charters are ideal for private parties and celebrations; birthdays, anniversaries, wedding receptions, bridal showers and bachelor’s parties – whatever event you need to host. For the corporate world of product launches; office parties and client events nothing beats an ocean cruise. Waterfront Charters range of add-ons will ensure that all needs are catered for; from food and drink to a top DJ.

OUR FLEET

Enigma
A 42 foot state of the art powered catamaran that is perfect for all chartered cruises. From private parties to corporate functions, her twin decks, on-board cash bar and luxurious fittings make her the ideal platform to cruise offshore, hosting up to 50 guests in comfort, safety, and style.

Serenity One
A superb 40 foot luxury sailing catamaran that can carry up to 40 guests in comfort. She is safe, stylish and extremely attractive, with facilities ranging from a bar to on-board music, she is the ideal vessel for parties, functions and launches.

Sea Princess
A powerful, luxurious, ocean-going catamaran that can comfortably host up to 140 guests, with a cash bar on-board.

Esperance
A fifty foot purpose-built day charter Sailing Schooner that can accommodate 35 passenger, with an on-board cash bar. A schooner experience is a true sailing adventure: they are not modern-day floating palaces, but give guests a genuine feel of yachting on the ocean’s waves.

Southern Cross
Southern Cross is one of the best-known vessels in the V&A Waterfront, and her seaworthy 45 foot trawler-based design makes her a superb boat to host private functions. With a capacity of 60 guests on her twin decks and on-board cash bar.

Adventure Boats (RIBS): Spectre & Adventure 1
Two 7.8 meter vessels that are licenses by SAMSA and can carry 10 passengers each. Ideal for 1-hour ocean safari cruises to search for marine life.
