Itinerary

  1. DAY 1: Port Elizabeth 11 May 2018 to Oudtshoorn 11 May 2018

    Depart from Port Elizabeth and traveling west along the N2 our first stop will be the start of the Garden Route, the Tsitsikamma National Park for refreshments. We then stop at the Bungy Jump to watch folk doing the jump for a short while before we continue through Knysna and turning off on to the 7 Passes Road, taking the back route which is a beautiful scenic route, to George. There will be a lunch stop in George then on to the Berry Farm for Berry Picking or the Maze Walk (optional extras).
    Continue over the Outeniqua Mountain Pass to Oudtshoorn.

  2. DAY 2: Oudtshoorn 12 May 2018 to George 12 may 2018

    Rise early morning, have some Coffee and Biscuits, then off to the Meerkat burrow to wait for the clan to arise. After the viewing we return to the hotel for a welcome breakfast.
    We then return to George to visit the Railway Museum after which we take a ride up the Outeniqua Mountain in the Powervan, stopping in the mountain for a picnic (picnic for own account).

  3. DAY 3: George 13 may 2018 to Port Elizabeth 13 May 2018

    Depart for Port Elizabeth traveling along the Garden Route to Plettenberg Bay then over the beautiful Prince Alfred Pass (weather permitting) into the Langkloof Valley, following the trail of the “Free Burghers” (Voortrekkers) who broke away from the Dutch East India Company and followed an elephant trail from before Knysna into the “Long Valley” (Langkloof), settling in this fertile valley, back to Port Elizabeth.
