Addo Elephant National Park's Woody Cape section is home to the world’s first nation, the Khoikhoi. Walk in the expansive dune fields with uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean and Bird Island. Explore Khoikhoi middens. Wander through the shaded dune forest accompanied by the song of the rich forest birdlife while Vervet monkeys climb overhead.

8:00 am pick up at your place of residence in Port Elizabeth and depart for Woody Cape, the Eastern most point of Algoa Bay the largest protected bay in the southern hemisphere.

We start with a walk in the expansive dune fields with uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean and Bird Island.

Explore Khoikhoi middens, ancient heaps of millions of discarded seashells on this remote but awe-inspiring shoreline.

Wander through the shaded dune forest accompanied by the song of the rich forest birdlife while Vervet monkeys climb overhead and a myriad of bird songs cloak you in a lost world.

We return to the vehicle for a coffee break before returning to Port Elizabeth and your accommodation.
