About the Rhodes Trail Run
The Rhodes Trail Run, South Africa's premier trail race, is a 52km event staged in the Southern Drakensberg. The event starts in the hamlet of Rhodes at an altitude of 1800m, and climbs (at one stage the gradient is 1:3) to 2670m at Lesotho View (on the Lesotho border) running along the Ben MacDhui snowfields before returning to Rhodes.
There is a limited field. Pre-entry by invitation only, with a substitution system.
