Villa Grande is a warm hearted Tuscan-style guest house situated in the heart of historic Stellenbosch. At the end of a quiet and leafy cul-de-sac, you'll find the cool, shuttered facade of Villa Grande. This elegant renovated 1920's house offers a serene retreat within easy walking distance of the diverse attractions this vibrant university town has to offer. Villa Grande will embrace you with it's warm, personal spirit. An eclectic decor style lends individual character to each of the 10 en-suite bedrooms, one of which is a luxurious African inspired room with it's own fireplace and Jacuzzi bath. AccommodationWe offer you a choice of six Classic en-suite rooms or decide on one of our three Luxury en-suite rooms, which are a bit more spacious then the Classic rooms. Some of the bathrooms have a bath and a shower and some of them have only a shower, but a lovely balcony! And if you are on honeymoon or you prefer even more luxury, then stay in our African Room with Jacuzzi bath and fireplace. All rooms are en-suite and have direct dialling telephone, TV with M-Net and hairdryer. DiningVery special breakfasts are a lovely way to start the day. Light lunches and dinners can be arranged on request and feature creative cuisine that is a visual feast, as pleasing to the eye as to the palate. And if you feel like dining out, there are many excellent restaurants in the vicinity. We will gladly advise you and arrange table bookings. StellenboschThe second oldest town in the country, Stellenbosch, with its Mediterranean climate and laid back lifestyle, is world-famous for its wines. This scenic area, with its mountains, forests, rivers and nearby beaches, is perfect for nature lovers. There's a lot to see and do, including hiking, horse riding and mountain biking, and there are several world-class golf courses in the area. And of course the famous wine farms of the Western Cape.
