Les Cascades de Bantry Bay is a fine, luxurious guest lodge offering beautifully appointed villa offers double en-suite rooms, all with sweeping sea views from their private balconies. The Main Lodge is the heart of the hotel. It is here that the very essence is revealed of what Les Cascades de Bantry Bay is about.

Accommodation


All six luxurious and very spacious en suite rooms in the main lodge exhume prestige and sophistication. Architecture and décor have distinct Balinese-style influences enhanced with warm earthy hues, soft furnishings in brown and beige. Comfortable colonial furniture and object d’art form the background for a relaxed stay.

The Main Lodge


1 Luxury Suite (60 m2):
Consist of a large lounge and separate bedroom with en-suite bathroom and king size bed. The suite is equipped with two 32” Flat Screen Plasma Satellite TV’s, DVD and CD player, a PC with printer, telephone and fax, WiFi broadband internet access point, espresso machine, mini bar and electronic safe. The bathroom is fitted with full bath, separate shower and a wall mounted hairdryer. The Luxury Suite offers frontal sea view from its private balcony.

3 Superior rooms (45 m2):
Very large hotel rooms with en-suite bathrooms and king size beds. The Superior rooms are equipped with 32” Flat Screen Plasma Satellite TV, DVD and CD player, telephone, WiFi broadband internet access point, espresso machine, mini bar and electronic safe. The bathrooms are installed with full bath, separate shower and wall mounted hairdryers. All three Superior rooms have frontal sea view from their private balconies.

2 Deluxe rooms (35 m2):
Large hotel rooms with en-suite bathrooms and king size beds. The Deluxe rooms are equipped with 32” Flat Screen Plasma Satellite TV, DVD and CD player, telephone, WiFi broadband internet access point, mini bar and electronic safe. The bathrooms are installed with full bath, separate shower and wall mounted hairdryers. The two Deluxe rooms have frontal sea view from their private balconies.

The Villa


The Villa, adjacent to the Main Lodge, with its own private pool, consists of three modern and very comfortable rooms and one, larger junior suite. All four Villa rooms offer equally splendid sea views from every room. The style of the décor balances between classic traditional and contemporary through the use of stainless steel embellishments in combination with chiseled sand stone, exposed wooden beams and game skins.

3 Villa rooms (25 m2):
Medium size hotel rooms with en-suite bathrooms and king size beds. The Villa rooms are equipped with a satellite TV and CD player, telephone, mini bar and electronic safe. The bathrooms are installed with full bath, separate shower and wall mounted hairdryers. All three Villa rooms have frontal sea view from their private balconies.

1 Junior Suite (35 m2)
Medium size hotel room with a small lounge and separate bedroom, an en-suite bathroom and king size bed. The Villa Junior Suite is equipped with two satellite TV’s, a CD player, telephone, mini bar and electronic safe. The bathroom is installed with full bath, separate shower and a wall mounted hairdryer. The Junior Suite has frontal sea view from its private balcony and direct access to the Villa pool.

In the Main Lodge:
An additional single bed can be installed in one of the Deluxe rooms to provide accommodation for a third person. Two additional single beds can be installed in one of the Superior rooms to provide accommodation for four persons. All the rooms in the main lodge can be provided with twin beds instead of king size double beds. A Superior room (room 6) and a Deluxe room (room 5) can be made inter leading.

In the Villa:
An additional single bed can be installed in the Junior Suite to provide accommodation for a third person.

Dining


Taking full advantage of the extraordinary wind free position in Bantry Bay, dining at Les Cascades de Bantry Bay is an outdoors event throughout summer. A romantic al fresco dinner on the deck in the Main Lodge, while the sun sets over the ocean below, is for many one of the highlights of their holiday. Cosiness and intimacy close to the open fire place prevail during the less warm winter evenings in the fine dining restaurant at the Villa.

Pools and Relaxation


The lodge has three pools, an ornamental rim flow pool on the upper deck in the Main Lodge, a very large (13m) salt water pool on the main sundeck between the Main Lodge and the Villa and a third, fresh water rim flow pool on the sundeck at the Villa. The three pools, superb sun decks and a romantic Indonesian style Balé, all are designed for maximum comfort and intimacy. The abundant use of dark stained wood, Indian slate terraces and the black lined pools set the tone and ambience.

Children


Children of all ages are welcome. Cots are available for the very young and baby- or child sitting arrangements can be made. However, the lodge is not build “for” children. It is a place where guests can and expect to find relaxation and harmony in a stress free environment. There is no playground and no large garden for unbridled play. Therefore we ask that parents undertake to keep their children in check and instill in them a basic code of conduct during their stay.

Position


Les Cascades de Bantry Bay is facing North-West overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Its position offers unobstructed sun set views and maximum sun exposure time. The lodge is build on the foot of Signal Hill under Lion’s Head in the neighborhood of Bantry Bay. The monumental outcrop of Lion’s Head acts as a giant windshield and deflects the often merciless South Easter winds away from a very small area along the Atlantic Seaboard. This wind free area covers Clifton and Bantry Bay and is, together with the spectacular lay of the land key to the success of the neighborhood in terms of exclusivity and uniqueness.
