Direct access to the beach where views of Table Mountain and Robben Island are spectacular. At night see the reflection of Cape Town City lights on golden sands washed by softly rolling waves. Use these self-catering cottages, 2 or 3 bedroom units, as a base to explore the Cape and surrounds, stretching from the two oceans on either side of the Cape Peninsula (Indian and Atlantic Ocean) through the scenic vineyards of Stellenbosch, Paarl, Franschoek and Somerset West. Continue along the coastal road, winding along cliffs until you reach Hermanus where the whales will entertain you with their breaching and frolicking in the waters with their calves. DIRECTIONS: From Cape Town International Airport From Cape Town International Airport take N2 towards Cape Town. Continue until you see off ramp MILNERTON, (N1 NORTH). Continue along the M5 until you come to a fork in the road. Stick to right hand lane where board shows MILNERTON, PAARL, N1). Carry on (do not turn off at off ramp Paarl, N1) to robot. Carry straight on through robot (this road is now called Koeberg Road). At the 4th robot (including pedestrian robots) turn Left into Boundary Road (Solly Kramer Bottle Store on right corner). Carry on until the next robot (Sea directly in front of you) and turn Right into Otto Du Plessis Drive. At next robot, Loxton Road, (lagoon and Woodbridge Island now on your left) turn Left onto bridge across lagoon. Once over the bridge turn Left into Security Gate of Woodbridge Island, where you will sign in and be directed to your cottage/unit, BUT, preferably on reaching the Island and before entering the gate, pull off to the right where there is plenty of parking and phone ELIZE on 083 444 5902 who will meet you and take you through to your cottage/unit and settle you in. She lives on the island and will be there for your attention at all times. |
