Trade Winds is a lovely guest house with stunning sea views situated in L'Agulhas, a two hour drive south east from Cape Town. This beautiful little town is in Cape Agulhas, the Southern most point of Africa, and the point where the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean meet. Trade Winds is situated within walking distance to the historic lighthouse and museum, the Southern most Tip of Africa, restaurants, shops and tidal pools.

Accommodation

Trade Winds B&B has three large comfortable double bedrooms and one self-catering unit, which is separate. All rooms sleep 2 persons. Each room has large comfortable beds with tea / coffee facilities, a hair drier and a safe for your belongings. Two of the double rooms (Kudu and Springbok) can be made into a family-unit on request. All rooms have spacious cupboard space.

Bontebok
The Bontebok room is a large en-suite double room. This main room has a king size bed, large cupboard space and an en-suite bathroom consisting of spacious double corner bath, a large separate shower and twin wash basins.

Kudu
The Kudu room is a large room with twin beds, spacious cupboard space and a shared bathroom. This room can be split into two singles if required and on request. This lovely room has patio doors leading out to the garden and the swimming pool with stunning sea views.

Springbok
The Springbok room is a medium size double room with a queen size bed, large cupboard space and shared bathroom. The Springbok room has large patio doors which lead out to the garden and fabulous pool area. There are lovely sea views to be enjoyed from this room.

Both the Springbok and Kudu rooms share a bathroom. These two rooms can form a spacious two bedroom family unit if required and on request.

Self Catering Unit
There is also a spacious self catering unit that sleeps four. The self catering unit is situated in the garden of Trade Winds B&B. It has a double bedroom and en-suite shower room and toilet, and a lounge/kitchen dining area, a built in braai fireplace and TV. The lounge has a sleeper couch and leads out onto a patio through large patio doors which has an outside braai/barbecue. Dogs are welcome in this unit.

Relax or take a swim in the large solar heated pool which has stunning sea views and is conveniently shielded from the wind. Fall asleep to the sound of waves and wake up to a scrumptious English breakfast served on the terrace, weather permitting. Unwind in the large communal lounge which has DSTV (digital satellite TV). There is also a dining room where breakfast can be served. Additionally, you can also make use of the indoor braai / Barbecue on request. Secure parking is available for motorbikes and bicycles.
