At the Blue Crane Guest House, a short garden path leads guests from the secure off street parking through a private entrance onto a covered terrace. Here visitors are greeted with a welcoming view of the sparkling main pool and heated 8-seater cocktail pool, set in the lush garden with the Helderberg Mountain completing the background, a picture epitomising extreme tranquillity and an unsurpassed privacy. AccommodationLuxuriously furnished double en-suite bedrooms leading off the entrance terrace make up the exclusive accommodation offered at the Blue Crane Guest House. The tastefully decorated rooms all have TV (South African channels, six DSTV channels as well as one German channel) and are furnished with extra-length King-size beds (twin bed rooms are available on request). A fully equipped kitchenette including microwave and fridge is standard in all the rooms as well as coffee and tea making facilities. Every room has a private bathroom, fully tiled and with a generous shower. Two of which are available with a shower as well as a bath. All rooms have air-conditioning units for both heating as well as cooling. Drinks & CuisineAn honesty bar with a selection of good wines as well as a wide choice of alcoholic beverages is available on site. For the B&B guests a sensational continental breakfast buffet is served in the elegant dining room which is free-flowing onto the pool deck. DIRECTIONS: From Cape Town International, take the N2 due East towards Somerset West. From the N2 turn onto the R44 (second after the filling station). At the big intersection turn right onto Somerset West's Main Road. Once on Main Road, turn left at the fourth traffic light into Lourensford Road. Then turn left at the traffic circle into Parel Vallei Road. The Blue Crane is no. 81 on the left hand side. |
