DESCRIPTION:

The Palms Suites are (non-smoking) islands of luxurious comfort and offer sophisticated 4-star graded Bed & Breakfast accommodation in two specially and uniquely appointed suites.

Situated in Cape Town’s up-market Northern Suburb of Plattekloof, they enjoy spectacular views and one of the most central positions within larger Cape Town with quick and easy access to almost anything of interest or importance for holiday makers and business persons alike. There is easy access to highways, yet far enough away to avoid disturbing noise.

You can safely walk within minutes to several good Restaurants and shopping facilities or to the nearby Nature Reserve with lots of bird life.

Accommodation


Both suites offer suitable glasses for all your various drinks, crockery and cutlery, coffee maker with filter coffee, tea kettle with different teas, a fully stocked small fridge and much more. Their curtains have special lining, which can turn the afternoon into the darkness of the night. And, off course, the beds are covered with finest 100% Cotton.

Facilities
Both Suites are wired for permanent (cost-free) Internet connection. The Bay View Suite and the rest of the House as well as the pool terrace have also wireless Internet access. A laptop can be loaned to send and retrieve your emails or enjoy Internet access. And Skype facility (also wireless) to stay cost effectively in touch with Home or Office. But each Suite has also its own pre-paid telephone with its own dedicated telephone number. Fax facilities are available – and a Cell Phone, in case you forgot yours. The same applies to a Laptop, if you need to send or retrieve emails or browse in the Internet.

The Sun Suite
A separate, cozy, comfortable and functional Lounge with adjoining large, protected balcony and stunning views of the City and the Bay with Table Mountain as the back-drop. The comfortable Bedroom with Queen size bed has lots of wardrobe space, a built-in safe, radio alarm clock and a hair dryer. The large and luxurious bathroom with bath and separate shower concludes this Home away from Home. SA TV, German satellite TV, a HiFi / CD set and DVD player are also part of the facilities.

The Bay View Suite
A large Bedroom/Lounge combination with extra length king size bed (on request 2 separate beds) with balcony and a view reaching from the Cape of Good Hope along Table Mountain via the City right to the turquoise Table Bay with Robben Island. The adjoining Dressing Room has lots of wardrobe space and a small safe. The inter-leading bathroom features a double volume bath, an oversized shower with two shower nozzles, bidet, toilet etc. And its ‘view from the loo’ is famous.

Breakfast


The breakfast is healthy and stylishly presented, designed to start the day in the right way and mood – no matter if it will be an adventurous discovery of parts of Cape Town or to pave the way to a stressful business day. It will be served on the pool terrace (weather permitting) or in the downstairs breakfast room.

Gym / Beauty Treatments


A modern, brand new Gym, where you can obtain daily tickets to exercise on the most sophisticated equipment, partake in fitness classes of any kind or have your swim in a large heated pool is as close. You may decide for a relaxing massage or special beauty treatment at “Nirvana”, next to the Gym. Their program embraces every conceivable type of body treatment and massages. However, if you want to have the ultimate in comfort and convenience, The Palms Suites will arrange these treatments for you right in your suite as a special service at no extra costs over and above ‘Nirvana’s’ normal charges for the selected treatments.

DIRECTIONS:

From Cape Town International Airport:
1. As you come from the airport parking lot to the first traffic light turn Right (Just before the 'Vodacom' Bill board ahead)
2. After the Stop sign the road forks and you take the left fork. (The right fork leads you back to the airport terminals.) Follow this small service road to the next traffic light.
3. Turn right into Borchards Quarry Road for about 50 m to the next traffic light
4. Turn right into Modderdam Road and go for about 1 km
5. Turn left in direction Goodwood / Elsies River / M12 and follow this road for 7.6 km
6. Turn right towards Paarl onto the N1
7. Leave the N1 at the next Exit (Exit 18 Plattekloof Raos / McEntire Road)
8. At the end of the ramp turn left down Plattekloof Road
9. After about 2 km at the second traffic light (you see on your left the Panorama Medi Clinic and straight ahead a small shopping centre with a Super Spar)) you turn right (toward the mountain) (Olienhout Road)
10. Now take the first street to the left (Silverboom Street)
11. Second Street right (Suikerbos Street)
12. And again second Street right (Waboom Crescent)
13. We are No 9 on the right hand side with four Palm Trees in front of the property.
