However it is only a 30 minute drive from Cape Town's CBD and close to the Peninsula's scenic wonders. Self Catering AccommodationThere are three apartments that all have separate entrances leading onto a private patio with braai/barbeque facilities and into the garden. Guinea Fowl The first apartment is a luxury double apartment with a separate bedroom, with twin beds, an en-suite bathroom with shower and garden views and another room with a fully equipped kitchen and living area. Seahorse Family Apartment The second two-roomed apartment is the largest and best suited to a family of four. It has a large bedroom with twin beds and living area with a couch. The other room has a single bed and a sleeper couch on the one side and a fully equipped kitchen on the other. Both rooms have beautiful garden views. Gecko Apartment The third apartment is a large room with twin beds, a kitchen and living area all in one, also with beautiful garden views. All the rooms are light, airy and equipped with the following: Main bedroom, shower en-suite Each unit contains a colour TV Modern kitchenettes with microwave ovens Property is fully fenced with automatic security gate. Secure off-road parking Rooms serviced on week days Phone and fax on premises Large enclosed swimming pool Swings for children No smoking is allowed in the apartments Attractions & ActivitiesSunset Splendour is in walking distance to the Longbeach Mall making shopping for food and supplies easy. It is a 5 minute drive from the beautiful Noordhoek beach and Chapmans Peak Drive on the Atlantic coast. It is also a 5 minute drive to Fish Hoek beach in False Bay, a more protected beach that is great for swimming. Three minutes down the road is Noordhoek farm village a quaint shopping/craft village with two great restaurants and play area for kids. Noordhoek is situated half way between Cape Town and Cape Point, so it is perfectly situated for scenic peninsula outings. DIRECTIONS: from Cape Town International Airport Take the N2 towards Cape Town and continue straight for about 20kms, take note of the turn off into the Main Road and after that move into the left lane and continue straight onto the M3/Rhodes avenue. You continue on the M3 for about 20kms until you reach a T junction at a set of traffic lights. Turn right into Steenberg Road (M42), and take the 2nd left. This is Ou Kaapse Weg (M64), continue over the mountain and take the first right hand turn, sign posted noordhoek, continue along this road until you get another T junction. Turn left into Noordhoek road and first left again into Sea Cottage Drive, we are number 7 (over the hill). |
