Built in the Cape Vernacular style, Stellenbosch Lodge Country Hotel & Conference Centre embodies the splendid heritage of South Africa’s oldest town - historic Stellenbosch in the Western Cape. Here, a rugged mountain amphitheatre holds in its hands a hotel that pays homage to the heritage of the Cape Winelands.

Stained glass doors invite you to the pool-patio where breathtaking views of the majestic Stellenbosch Mountains compliment the shifting colours of the vineyards. Situated on the outskirts of a tranquil neighbourhood the Hotel has Blaauwklippen Wine Estate as its neighbour. The Hotel is located 40 minutes from Cape Town and 25 minutes from Cape Town International Airport.

The De Koetz Restaurant with Continental Cuisine comes highly recommended. Its unique loft, open fire place and cosy lounge area nestled between Oregon furniture, sets the ambience of the Hotel. Start off with a scrumptious breakfast enjoyed in the restaurant or on the pool-patio. As our French doors open on this area, this makes it great for alfresco dining. Full bar facilities are available. Cocktails may be enjoyed on the pool-patio overlooking the Blaauwklippen vineyards or in the cosy Coffee Lounge.

The Intimate Coffee lounge is arranged with sofas and easy chairs. Here a guest can laze deep into a comfortable chair with a book. Enjoy a cup of steaming coffee in front of a crackling fire while listening to soothing music.

With the winelands as your backdrop - Stellenbosch Lodge Country Hotel is the perfect venue for any dream wedding. The Blaauwklippen Venue, etched in a country setting, is a thatched Colonial style venue overlooking the vineyards, and can accommodate up to 120 guests for a Breakfast, Luncheon or Dinner function. With a built in dance floor, there is no reason not to kick of you shoes and party the night away!

A Selection of mouth watering buffet menus is available together with full bar facilities and a notable wine selection. The Venue will be set up according to your specifications and requirements. Tranquil surroundings, excellent food and good service contribute to the mood of a special wedding. To conclude the memorable day, we offer the Bridal couple a complimentary Honeymoon Room on the night of the wedding.

DIRECTIONS:

From / Via N1 Cape Town:
Follow N1 towards Paarl. Take the Stellenbosch turn-off (Exit 39). Continue along the R304 for approximately 13 kilometers. Upon entering Stellenbosch, turn right at the third traffic light into Adam Tas Road. Continue along this road, also known as the R44 or Strand Road for 4.6 kilometers towards Somerset West. (The railway will be on your right). Turn left into Blaauwklippen Road, (The ENGEN garage will be on your left) and then a sharp right into Canterbury Lane.

From / Via N2 Cape Town:
Follow the N2 towards Somerset West. Take the Stellenbosch turn-off (Exit 43). Pass the Lord Charles Hotel and continue on the R44 for 15 kilometers following the directions to Stellenbosch.After passing the entrance to Blaauwklippen Wine Estate (On your right) and Technopark (On your left) turn right into Blaauklippen Road at the first traffic light. (The ENGEN garage will be on your left). Make a sharp right into Canterbury Lane.
