AccommodationThe air-conditioned top floor apartment is ideally situated in a peaceful location, only a minute's walk to Hout Bay beach and restaurants, bars and local shops. The self-catering apartment has been tastefully decorated to give the apartment a stylish atmosphere while maintaining comfort. Wireless internet access is available through a WIFI hotspot. The two bedroom apartment is in a modern building with a swimming pool, offers fantastic sea and mountain views and has a balcony with patio furniture and a barbeque from which to enjoy them. It is fitted with air-conditioning for the hot summer and central heating for winter months, ensuring maximum comfort all year round. La Dolce Vita is situated in a recently built development with controlled entry, 24-hour security and undercover parking. A lift allows easy access to our top floor apartment. The apartment is located at the foot of Chapman's Peak and is perfectly situated in a quiet location, just a minute's walk from the beach. A supermarket, banks, bars, restaurants, internet cafe, tourism office, gym and numerous other shops are all less than five minutes walk away. FacilitiesThe kitchen is fully equipped and has a microwave, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, coffee machine and oven with glass hob. Everything you need to cook a great meal for six people is supplied. The dining area seats six on comfortable leather chairs at the dark timber table. In the lounge, relax on the luxurious leather couch and tub chairs. There is a TV, DVD and sound-system for your entertainment with satellite TV available for a small extra cost. The main bedroom, with its queen sized bed, has a stunning sea and mountain view with a sliding door opening directly onto the balcony. The second bedroom contains two single beds and has a Juliet balcony overlooking the courtyard. The bathroom has been beautifully finished with corner bath, separate shower, toilet and basin. The guest cloakroom has a toilet and basin. The balcony runs the full width of the apartment and has magnificent sea and mountain views. It is equipped with patio furniture and a Weber barbeque for sunny outdoor entertainment. Location & AttractionsLa Dolce Vita provides the perfect home-away-from-home. A 25 minute drive from central Cape Town, it is well situated for anyone needing to work in Cape Town, while providing a relaxing atmosphere to come back to in the evening. The apartment is also within 25 minutes drive of the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), where many conventions and expos are held. Surrounded by mountains, the seaside village of Hout Bay has a picturesque setting. The lovely sandy beach is safe for swimming and runs from the foot of Chapman's Peak around the bay, ending at the vibrant Hout Bay Harbour. It is a scenic 25 minute (20km) drive along the coast to Central Cape Town, and just 40 minutes from Cape Town International Airport. When it comes to eating out, there is an abundance of great restaurants offering a wide range of cuisine. There is also a good selection of bars and cafes where you can sip drinks as the sun dips behind the mountain. DIRECTIONS: From Cape Town International Airport (and the N2) • Drive along the N2 towards Cape Town • Take the M3 (exit 6) towards Muizenberg • Turn right at the first set of traffic lights into Rhodes Drive (M63) to Kirstenbosch, Hout Bay, Constantia Nek. • You will pass Kirstenbosh on your right. Continue until you reach a T-junction where you will turn right towards Hout Bay. • Continue along Constantia Nek until you reach a roundabout. • Take the second exit to Hout Bay • Continue along the same road into Hout Bay towards Chapman's Peak • Go straight over two roundabouts. You are now in Hout Bay village. • Just before the start of the ascent to Chapmans Peak, turn right into Beach Crescent • Continue along Beach Crescent until you see The Village Square on your left. From Noordhoek over Chapman's Peak • Drive over Chapman's Peak towards Hout Bay. • Take the first left (Beach Crescent) • Continue along Beach Crescent until you see The Village Square on your left. From Cape Town • Follow Buitengracht towards Table Mountain and Camps Bay • Continue along the road which will become Kloof Nek Road (M62). • Continue straight and the road will become Camps Bay Drive. • Continue until the end of Camps Bay Drive and turn left into Victoria Road (M6) • Continue along this coastal road towards Llandudno and Hout Bay. • Go straight past the turn-off to Llandudno and you will enter Hout Bay. • Continue straight through the traffic lights • Go straight over the mini roundabout • At the next roundabout, turn left into Princess Avenue • At the next roundabout, turn right onto Hout Bay Main Road • Continue towards Chapman's Peak • Just before the start of the ascent to Chapmans Peak, turn right into Beach Crescent • Continue along Beach Crescent until you see The Village Square on your left. |
