The guest house is named after the extraordinary beautiful Just Joey rose. This friendly charming guest house is tastefully decorated, in keeping with the romantic feel of Stellenbosch and the nostalgia of the Cape Winelands. The soft peach coloured exterior of the house blends with the colour of the Just Joey roses in the lovely Oak and Camphor tree garden. Each dawn is greeted with the sound of birdsong and the babbling of the Eerste River as it winds it way along the oak-lined banks. A truly unique and peaceful setting. Just Joey is the perfect getaway for young and old, and offers true South African hospitality to holiday makers and business executives! Our private Garden Room is very popular with honeymooners. AccommodationThere are seven bedrooms, each fully–equipped with all modern facilities, including en-suite bathrooms, telephone, television, hairdryer, heater, fan, modem point and tea tray. A same day laundry service is available. A sparkling pool in the beautiful Oak and Camphor tree garden offers cool relief during balmy summer days and the cosy fireplace is a treat in winter. DIRECTIONS: From Cape Town Airport From Cape Town Airport turn left onto the N2 highway, and then left at the Stellenbosch turnoff (road R310). In Stellenbosch turn right into Dorp Street (at Shell garage). After crossing the next traffic light, turn right at the 6th street (Helderberg Street) to your right (there is a Just Joey direction sign on the corner). We are on the left at the end of Helderberg Street. Turn left at the T-junction and park your vehicle in the parking area on the right hand side of the guest house. From the N1 (coming from Cape Town) From the N1 (coming from Cape Town) take the R304 road and drive straight into Stellenbosch until you get to a T-junction. Turn left into Dorp Street and right into the 2nd street, Helderberg Street (there is a Just Joey direction sign on the corner). We are on the left at the end of Helderberg street. Turn left at the T-junction and park your vehicle in the parking area on the right hand side of the guest house. From the N1 (coming from Paarl) From the N1 (coming from Paarl) take the R44 road. When you get to Stellenbosch turn left into Bird Street at the 3rd traffic light (you will see Eikestad Motors on the opposite left hand corner). Drive until you get to a T-junction. Turn left into Dorp Street and right into the 2nd street, Helderberg Street (there is a Just Joey direction sign on the corner). We are on the left at the end of Helderberg street. Turn left at the T-junction and park your vehicle in the parking area on the right hand side of the guest house. From the N2 From the N2 (coming from Somerset West, Garden Route or Hermanus) take the R44 road to Stellenbosch. After you have passed De Zalze golf club and then Stellenbosch golf club (both to your left), turn right into Dorp Street at the 3rd traffic light (you will see an old wooden wine press on the right hand corner). Then right again at the 6th street to your right, Helderberg street (there is a Just Joey sign on the corner). We are on the left at the end of Helderberg street. Turn left at the T-junction and park your vehicle in the parking area on the right hand side of the guest house. From Franschhoek From Franschhoek take the R310 through Pniel. Turn left at the first traffic light in Stellenbosch (Cluver street). Go through the next traffic light and a circle, and then turn right at the T-junction (van Riebeeck Street). After crossing three stop streets, turn left at the 2nd street (Drostdy Street). At the T-junction go right into Dorp Street and left at the next one, Helderberg Street (there is a Just Joey direction sign on the corner). We are on the left at the end of Helderberg street. Turn left at the T-junction and park your vehicle in the parking area on the right hand side of the guest house. |
