AccommodationThe Fairways on The Bay is an exclusive seven bedroom boutique hotel. The Tranquillity suite overlooks the restaurant’s quaint tea garden and enjoys prime access to the beachfront. Mountain Edge suites are situated on the first floor with a view of either the ocean or the foot of Signal hill. The luxurious Ocean Breeze suites offer exquisite views and are ideal for honeymoon couples. All suites are elegantly furnished with en suite bedrooms, king-size beds, satellite television, air-conditioning, coffee/tea-making facilities and a bar fridge. Tranquility Suite The superbly furnished en suite room, with king-size bed, satellite television, large dresser, coffee/tea-making facilities and bar fridge, overlooks the restaurant’s quaint tea garden and enjoys prime access to the beachfront. Mountain Edge Suites Our Mountain Edge suites either overlook the foot of Signal Hill through an elegant bay window or boast a quaint balcony overlooking the mountains and the sea. Whichever view you prefer, these suites are ideal for a scenic escape. Ocean Breeze Suites Two exclusive Ocean Breeze suites, each with their own private balcony, overlook Camps Bay and the mountains. ConferencingThe Fairways on the Bay conference venue is fully equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, air-conditioning and comfortable seating configurable to almost any requirement. The venue can seat a minimum of six and a maximum of 15 delegates and can be converted to a theatre at night. The venue can cater for private functions, including breakfasts, luncheons and dinners. The event management team can also assist with creative ideas made possible with themes, lighting, entertainment, music and effects. Team-building events can also be arranged on request. SERVICES & FACILITIESFacilities include laundry and dry cleaning services. ATTRACTIONS & ACTIVITIESVisit the top of world-renowned Table Mountain in a cable car, shop at Greenmarket Square, take a boat trip from the Waterfront to Robben Island, or relax on the lovely beaches at Clifton and Camps Bay. Any visit to Cape Town must include a trip to Cape Point, the tip of Africa. DIRECTIONS: From Cape Town International Airport • Follow the road signs towards Cape Town (N2 highway). Follow the N2 highway for approximately 20 minutes. • Drive towards the top of the hill passing a large cream building on your right (Groote Schuur Hospital). At the top of the hill, the road divides into Eastern Boulevard (N2) and De Waal Drive. • Follow the Eastern Boulevard (N2) sign. Continue to the first set of traffic light approaching the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront complex on your right and The Cape Town Convention Centre on your left. • Continue to the next set of traffic lights passing the Cullinan Hotel and Holiday Inn on your left. • Continue straight, the road becomes Buitengracht Road through Cape Town’s CBD then becoming Kloof Nek Road along the top of the hill. • Continue past the Cable Way turnoff, following signs for Camps Bay. • Follow Camps Bay Drive all the way to Victoria Road (beachfront). • Turn right onto Van Kampz Road. Parking is available at the Place on the Bay hotel which will be the second building on your left OR turn right onto Fairway Road and The Fairways on the Bay hotel will be the second building on your right. |
