The Fairways on The Bay is an exclusive six luxury bedroom boutique hotel. Luxury rooms are situated on the first floor with a view of either the ocean or the foot of Signal hill. All luxury rooms are elegantly furnished with en suite bedrooms, king-size beds, satellite television, air-conditioning, coffee/tea-making facilities and a bar fridge.

Dining


The Restaurant on the Bay offers a dining experience which captures the warm, lively ambience of its setting. A widely appealing variety of delectable dishes are offered and the restaurant is fully licensed. For a view of the beach and the picturesque sunset, the garden terrace is the ideal place to relax with a cappuccino or a chilled sundowner.

Facilities include laundry and dry cleaning services. A communication centre offering internet access. 24-hour medical assistance is available and hairdressers, beauty salons and masseurs can be arranged on request.

ATTRACTIONS & ACTIVITIES


Visit the top of world-renowned Table Mountain in a cable car, shop at Greenmarket Square, take a boat trip from the Waterfront to Robben Island, or relax on the lovely beaches at Clifton and Camps Bay.

Any visit to Cape Town must include a trip to Cape Point, the tip of Africa. The Cape Point Nature Reserve, which covers over 22 000 hectares, showcases a combination of dramatic seascapes and soaring cliffs, antelope such as the rare mountain zebra and bontebok, as well as amazingly varied flora.

About 30 minutes’ drive from Camps Bay on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain are the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and for culinary delights, visit the acclaimed restaurants and coffee shops along the cosmopolitan beachfront walkways of Camps Bay.

DIRECTIONS:

From Cape Town International Airport
• Follow the road signs towards Cape Town (N2 highway). Follow the N2 highway for approximately 20 minutes.
• Drive towards the top of the hill passing a large cream building on your right (Groote Schuur Hospital). At the top of the hill, the road divides into Eastern Boulevard (N2) and De Waal Drive.
• Follow the Eastern Boulevard (N2) sign. Continue to the first set of traffic light approaching the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront complex on your right and The Cape Town Convention Centre on your left.
• Continue to the next set of traffic lights passing the Cullinan Hotel and Holiday Inn on your left.
• Continue straight, the road becomes Buitengracht Road through Cape Town’s CBD then becoming Kloof Nek Road along the top of the hill.
• Continue past the Cable Way turnoff, following signs for Camps Bay.
• Follow Camps Bay Drive all the way to Victoria Road (beachfront).
• Turn right onto Van Kampz Road. Parking is available at the Place on the Bay hotel which will be the second building on your left OR turn right onto Fairway Road and The Fairways on the Bay hotel will be the second building on your right.
