This beautiful boutique game farm is quietly nestled amongst rolling hills overlooking the Big Langeberg Mountain. It offers a peaceful and tranquil setting away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The stylish cottages are surrounded by fresh Karoo air, unbelievable panoramic views, and breathtaking sunsets.
Our majestic landscapes, nights filled with glorious stars and free roaming game will take your breath away. So whether you choose to sip on some famous Montagu muscadel while catching up with friends around a cosy fire or just enjoying endless walks on our wonderful “Klein Karoo” farm, there is something for everyone who enjoys the beauty of nature.
Accommodation
Our 5 cottages are fully self catering. Each feature a lounge and bedroom beautifully furnished and decorated to create a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Complete with a fully fitted open plan kitchen area that includes a microwave oven, fridge/freezer, hot plate and all the crockery and cutlery you might need. All cottages are provided with towels and bedding for your comfort. There are 2 two bedroom cottages and 3 one bedroom cottages each with their own braai and entertainment area.
Conferences and Weddings
Eenboom also offers conference facilities and a cosy bar entertainment area with DSTV. We can cater for small to medium size weddings, parties or special functions.
Activities
Activities to indulge in include 15 km of walking and cycling trails, in the indigenous succulents and fynbos, admiring bird and game life or just relaxing at the swimming pool. Fauna on the farm includes numerous species of game such as Bontebok, Springbok, Red Hartebees, Gemsbok, Grysbok and Duiker, nocturnal animals such as Porcupine, Wild Hare and Owls. Not to mention all the different bird species.
Location & Attractions
Eenboom is comfortably located only 15 minutes from Barrydale, 20 minutes from Montagu and 2 hours drive from Cape Town, situated just off the popular and famous R62 Tourism Route. There are numerous wine, fruit and flower farms in the area.
The town of Barrydale is famous for its craft shops and restaurants. At the Tradouw Pass one can experience one of the most beautiful mountain passes in South Africa with an abundance of waterfalls and wild veld flowers. Attractions close by include Big 5 safaris, Alpaca Farm, 4x4 trails, quad biking, hot springs, fishing and the big Poortjieskloofdam.

DIRECTIONS:
From Cape Town
From Cape Town take the N1 North towards Paarl / Worcester . At Worcester take the 2nd turn-off , “Worcester Robertson “ turn to your right . Pass through 3 sets of traffic lights , at the 4th traffic light turn left towards Robertson. Carry on for about 1 km, turn right at traffic light , follow the sign to Robertson. Pass through the towns of Robertson, Ashton and Montagu. You are now on the R62 Tourist Route going towards the town of Barrydale. After about 34km you will find a signboard on the left-hand side of the road saying “ Welcome to the Overberg “, you are now nearby. Carry on till you see a white pillar entrance to a farm on the lefthand side of the road. Start slowing down. This is followed by a road sign indicating a left turn-off. Look out for the sign saying “Een Boom Game Lodge “. Follow the dirt road for 4km, followed by a another sign on your left saying “EENBOOM“.
