The property is 4800m2 in size and the large garden provides a feeling of space and openness. Country style living, right here in town. If you need peace and quiet after a busy day facing the traffic and hustle, bustle and excitement of all that Cape Town offers, then Deo Gratia is your haven. Your home-from-home in Cape Town. AccommodationBed & Breakfast Accommodation offered consists of four en-suite bedrooms on the first floor and a two bedroom family unit, with direct pool access, on the ground floor. These units are B&B only and a Continental breakfast is served from 07h00. Communal braai facilities are available. Self Cateing We also have a fully equipped and private two bedroom flat, which is Self Catering. Breakfast can however be provided per arrangement with management. This unit has a reed enclosed braai facility at the entrance to the unit, providing some shade and wind protection. FacilitiesWe have lots of parking available and your vehicle is safe, as the entire property is enclosed and access at the entrance gate is controlled. Wifi access available. Relax in the Jacuzzi or float around in the pool. Start your braai / barbeque fire next to the pool while soaking up the South African sun. Find a nice spot in the shade under one of the trees and read that book that you have been wanting to read for some time now. Go for a stroll to two nearby ponds and feed the ducks. Spoil yourself and book a hot stone massage. We have a hair stylist 3 minutes’ walk from your room. Slightly overweight or have been neglecting the exercise? Get yourself going again on our treadmill and/or Orbitrek. Not a very serious gym experience, but who wants to be serious when they are on holiday anyway? Our garden is home to a variety of our Cape Fynbos and Protea jewels. A small sample of what can be found in larger Cape Town. If you are lucky, you can pick fresh fruit from a number of fruit trees around the garden. The plants and trees provide the correct environment to attract birds of all types and sizes. Spending some time in the garden will bring joy to the bird watchers. We have a few rabbits who are permanent visitors, adding to the country feel. Activities and AttractionsFor the holiday makers, Deo Gratia provides a central base from which to explore the wonders of wider Cape Town and the Western Cape. An hour’s drive in any direction provides a totally different perspective of Cape Town. Durbanville wine estates, Malmesbury wheat farms, Langebaan (West Coast), Blouberg or Strand’s beaches, Table Mountain, V&A Waterfront, Cape Point - Be prepared to come back to see all you could not get to during the first or second visit! GolfingWith excellent golf courses surrounding us, be prepared to be very busy. Durbanville Golf Course is only 5 minute’s drive away and a quick 9 holes after arriving at Deo Gratia, will definitely wet the golf appetite. Come visit us. Go straight into M16 - Francie Van Zijl Drive and continue in a north eastern direction for 1.818 km. 5. Turn left into M16 - Mike Pienaar Boulevard and continue north for 1.44 km. 6. Turn right into N1 - Freeway and continue in a north eastern direction for 193 m. 7. Go straight into N1 Freeway and continue in a north eastern direction for 1.74 km. 8. Turn left into Willie Van Schoor Avenue (R302 – Exit 23) and continue north for 3.22 km. Go straight into Durbanville Avenue and continue north for 4.24 km. Go straight into Main Road and continue in a north western direction for 209 m. 9. Turn right into Wellington Road and continue in a north eastern direction for 1.87 km. 10. Turn left into Boland Road and continue in a north western direction for 1.52 km. 11. Turn right into Murray Street and continue in a north western direction for 100 m.
