DESCRIPTION:

Welcome to our luxurious, new and modern ground floor, self-catering apartment in the Bougain Villas estate located in the Century City precinct.

With easy access to all of Cape Town’s famed attractions such as the V&A Waterfont, Table Mountain and the City Centre within 10 minutes and only 5 minutes to the closest beaches at Milnerton and slightly further to Bloubergstrand.

Accommodation

The unit can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests in 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Two of the beds are queen size, extra length and two are singles. The open plan fully-equipped kitchen features a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave. The lounge has a 74 cm television with DSTV and DVD player. There is a prepaid telephone available as well as limited Wi-Fi internet access for your laptop.

The en-suite bathroom has a bath and shower and the second bathroom has a bath. Both bathrooms feature heated towel rails and the lounge has under-floor heating for those cosier Cape Town days. There are patios leading off the lounge and main bedroom.

Facilities

The apartment is well-suited for families and children are most welcome. There are toys, books and puzzles within the apartment for the children to enjoy. You can also sit on the patio and relax whilst still keeping a watchful eye on the children playing in the play area in the beautiful gardens of the estate, less than 30m from the apartment.

If safety and security are a concern, please note that both the apartment and the estate are very secure. The apartment has sliding Maxidor slam-lock security gates and bars. There are safes in both main bedrooms to lock up your valuables during your stay, including your laptop if necessary. The estate has patrolling security guards as well as access control at the main gate. Furthermore, Century City is controlled via its own security and has CCTV cameras.

Attractions & Activities

It is no more than just a paddle along the canals or a stroll along the boardwalks straight from the estate to the retail paradise of Africa’s biggest shopping centre, Canal Walk. Apart from enjoying all of Cape Town’s beautiful sights, within the estate there are lovely navigable canals, streams and waterways throughout that link to the award winning 16ha Intaka Island Wetlands, which is rich in birdlife and indigenous plants and is a conservation area. Take a quiet moment to observe the birds in their natural habitat from one of the hides in the area.

There is full use of the Clubhouse facilites, including the swimming pool and braais. The apartment comes fully equipped with cutlery, crockery, towels, linen etc. All you need provide are your own swimming towels.

If you are looking for more action and fun for the whole family right there in Century City, then visit the Ratanga Junction theme park which is open in peak periods and holidays. The MTN Science centre at Canal Walk is also great fun for all.

DIRECTIONS:

From Cape Town CBD
1. Take the N1 to Paarl.
2. Take exit 10, Sable Road offramp and follow Century Drive signs.
3. Take Century Drive offramp and turn into Century City.
4. At the traffic lights, turn left for Ratanga, Dockside, the North Bank and Canal Walk and right for offices in the Waterford precinct.

From the Southern Suburbs
1. Take the M3 to the City keeping in the right hand lane..
2. Take the N2/Airport turnoff and follow the N2 signs.
3. Proceed along the N2 towards the Airport and take the M5 Milnerton offramp.
4. Keep in the right hand lane and take the N1 Paarl turnoff, still keeping right and feed on to the N1.
5. Take the Exit 10, Sable Road off-ramp.

From the Northern Suburbs
1. Take the N1 to Cape Town.
2. Take the Sable Road offramp.
3. Turn right at the traffic light and right again at the second traffic light so that you will be going back on yourself along the feeder road which runs parallel to the N1.
4. Take Century City Drive offramp into Century City.

From Cape Town International Airport
1. Take the N2 towards Cape Town.
2. Take the N7 offramp and turn right at the traffic lights.
3. Proceed along the N7 through Goodwood, passed GrandWest Casino.
4. Take the Bosmansdam Road turnoff and turn left into Bosmansdam Road.
5. Turn left into Century City opposite entrance to Montague Gardens.

From the West Coast suburbs
1. Take the R27 from Blouberg to Cape Town
2. Turn left at Race Course Road and proceed over Koeberg Road into Montague Drive.
3. Proceed down Montague Drive and follow over Bosmansdam Road into Century City.
