The apartments are fully serviced every day except for Christmas Day and New Years Day, and a laundry service is available. The Villa (4 Star Graded)The three-bedroom (all en-suite) Villa evokes days gone by with its colonial ambience and comfort and has spectacular views of the Twelve Apostles and the Atlantic Ocean. Built over a century ago as a beach front retreat, the Lodge has been lovingly restored to its former state - rich brown mahogany sash windows and shutters, golden Oregon pine floors, rustic red clay tiles - all adding up to a delightful place in which to relax and enjoy Cape hospitality. Furnished with lovingly collected antique instruments and Africana the Lodge has a very special magic. The stunning lounge is in colonial style with leather and rich fabric furniture and fittings. Plate glass sash windows look down on the exclusive Bakoven beach - a sheltered haven for Cape Town's most selective sun seekers. The two comfortable wing chairs with Ottoman are the ideal spot for soaking up the afternoon sun, and the large leather sofa is ideal for curling up in front of the satellite TV or sitting with a book. Old-fashioned double doors open onto a paved deck with a solar-heated swimming pool and barbecue. The sun deck has eight sun loungers, and it’s the perfect place to watch the sun set into the Atlantic, with a chilled glass of wine in your hand. The Penthouse (5 Star Graded)Awarded the maximum five-star grading, the Penthouse Apartment is Camps Bay Terrace’s premier accommodation. Come and treat yourself to absolute luxury with spectacular views of the Twelve Apostles and the Atlantic Ocean. It has a large pool deck with an incredible view of the ocean, and the rim-flow pool is solar-heated keeping it at an ideal swimming temperature. The Suite Apartment: The ultimate one bedroom accommodation in Camps Bay, the suite apartment offers the perfect retreat for a couple looking for some privacy, be it a honeymoon or just some time together. DIRECTIONS: In order to get to Camps Bay from the airport take the N2 southbound, following the signs to Cape Town, going past the townships and the cooling towers. You will then see signs for the M3 to Muizenberg (to the left) or M3 to Cape Town (to the right). Continue to follow the signs to Cape Town. The N2 merges with the M3, and shortly afterwards will split into De Waal Dr (the left two lanes) and Eastern Boulevard (the three right hand lanes). Stay in the right hand lanes. Follow Eastern Boulevard to the end (a large intersection with signs to the V&A Waterfront to the right) where it runs into Buitengracht Street. Go directly into Buitengracht St, and continue straight up towards the mountain. Keep following this road (the name has now changed to Kloof Nek Rd) up and over the hill, until you come over Kloof Nek (the top of the hill). This road now changes name, and becomes Camps Bay Drive. For Camps Bay Terrace Lodge & Camps Bay Terrace Palm Suite Follow the road all the way to the bottom until you reach the ocean. Here you will get to a set of traffic lights where you need to turn left into Victoria Road. Look out for number 107 on your left just after the first bend (the entrance is opposite a bus stop). There are 3 parking bays off the street for your use. The entrance is at number 107 Victoria Road. For Camps Bay Terrace Penthouse & Camps Bay Terrace Suite Apartment Follow Camps Bay Drive all the way down the hill. After you have passed the one and only stop street on this road, look out for number 58 on your left hand side. The entrance is at number 58 Camps Bay Drive. |
