Swimming beaches are within easy reach in the beautiful Walkerbay Area. Walkerbay is also world renowned for its whales and is a favourite to all whale watchers especially during the spawning season. Aladdin’s Cove offers a home away from home with the emphasis on good South African hospitality, personal service and individual attention. AccommodationStay in one of our four mutually exclusive apartments, all separate from main house with own private entrances: Marine, Dune, Coral or Savannah; one- and two-bedroomed self contained apartments. All apartments are equipped with a bathroom with shower, lounge with TV, kitchenette with honesty fridge & microwave oven, tea/coffee facilities (fresh milk and rusks). Enclosed lapa with barbeque facilities and safe off-street parking. BreakfastFull traditional South African Breakfast and we cater Halaal on request. ActivitiesShark Viewing/Cage Diving: Get to see the Great White in it's natural habitat by prior arrangement. Whale Watching: Boat based whale watching by prior arrangement, or from the coastline. Golf: There are four golf courses all within easy driving distance. Horse Riding: Horse riding can be arrangement by prior arrangement. Kayaking: Kayaking can be arrangement by prior arrangement. Swimming: There is a fresh water electroclear swimming pool on the property, as well as rock pools and swimming beaches within walking distance. Other Activitiies: There are a multitude of other activities in the area (Dune Surfing, Base Jumping, Nature Trails, Helicopter Tours, etc) depending on the season. DIRECTIONS: From Cape Town Drive along the N2 (to or from Cape Town) Take the R43 Hermanus off ramp Pass the Kleinmond turn off Follow the R43 past Fisherhaven and Hawston When you get the first sign showing Vermont, do not take it (Lynx Ave) Continue till you get the Vermont/Onrusrivier turn off (Vermont Ave), it is at the corner of a shopping complex (Onrus Trading Post) Continue with Vermont Ave, after you pass the traffic circle continue over the speed hump until you get a four way stop. Turn right into Duiker St and then at the first road to your right again into Shearwater Crescent (follow the B&B signs) We are the second establishment on the right. |
