Aire del Mar Guest House, ideally situated in the Cape Overberg region (only 2 hours drive from Cape Town) in the quiet and small seaside resort of Kleinbaai (world known for viewing of the Great White Sharks), is the only guest house where you can actually see the shark diving boats leave from Kleinbaai's small harbour and follow them all the way to Dyer Island. The guest house is less than 200 meters from the sea and only a few minutes walk from the harbour. AccommodationAt Aire del Mar Guest House, we offer you friendly personal service and quality accommodation in: Luxury Rooms Five spacious luxury rooms, all with en suite bath rooms and balconies from which you have a spectacular unspoilt panoramic view over the bay of Dyer Island [world famous for its shark alley!] - from Danger Point all the way around to the light house of Quion Point in a distance. All luxury rooms are equipped with satellite TV, wall heater, kettle (with coffee and tea) and a wall safe for your valuables. Two rooms have king beds, two twin beds and one a double bed]. You start your day with a healthy breakfast and towards the end of the day you can enjoy sundowners from your own balcony or in our fully licensed bar. Self Catering Units Three self catering studios - with sea view and en suite bathrooms. Two rooms have double beds and one has twin beds. They are equipped with a fridge and microwave and utensils to prepare a light meal. Family Unit / Backpackers A flat which can accommodate a family, or four to six backpackers. DIRECTIONS: From Cape Town Cape Town - N2 direction George - 60 km Hermanus turn-off. Travel through Hermanus - 40 km - Enter Gansbaai in Main Road - Travel straight through Gansbaai, crossing three 4-way stops, and at the fourth stop [about 800 meter out of Gansbaai] turn RIGHT towards Kleinbaai - Travel for 2.8 km until you reach a stop sign in Kleinbaai - Turn left in Van Dyk Street [first tarred road to your left] and drive for about one km until you reach no 77 Van Dyk Street [Aire del Mar Guest House] on your left. From the Garden Route Garden Route - N2 - Stanford turn-off is 10 km after Riviersonderend - 60 km to Stanford - at T-junction in Stanford - turn left to Gansbaai 20 km - further as above. |
