The apartment offers the luxury and comfort of a hotel with the privacy of your own home. AccommodationThe apartment is a duplex penthouse on the 7th and 8th floors of the Henley Manor building in the exclusive Mouille Point strip in Cape Town. The apartment has two bedrooms and a bathroom on the second level, and a lounge and kitchen on the first level. The apartment is 600m from the new 2010 FIFA World Cup stadium in Greenpoint. The main bedroom has a queen size bed with a leather headboard and a 42in wall mounted plasma. The bedroom has large sea-facing balcony with sweeping ocean views. There is also a comfy ‘S’ bed to relax on when you’re feeling lazy and some balcony furniture for you to sit and enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine. The second bedroom has a double bed and faces the golf course on the other side of the building. Both bedrooms have ample cupboard space and a safe for your valuables. There is an extra Intex® air bed that can sleep an extra person. The apartment has a smart bathroom finished with Italian marble and has a toilet, basin and large glass shower. The bathroom has all basic amenities (shampoo, soap, lotion etc.). The bathroom is not en-suite. Downstairs there is a fully equipped granite kitchen with stove/oven, microwave, fridge, kettle, coffee maker, washing machine and all the usual small accessories. FacilitiesThere is one secure parking bay inside the complex and plenty of off-street parking. The lounge has a 6 seat dining table, TV, DVD player, HiFi and Dual View DSTV Premium Bouquet (so that different channels can be watched in the main bedroom and lounge). There is also a small dressing table with a large mirror and hair dryer. We offer free wireless internet (up to 1GB) and a telephone for local calls. ServicesThe apartment is serviced by a trustworthy housekeeping staff every alternate day. In addition there are various other appliances such as a vacuum cleaner, iron, and washing machine in case you have a messy emergency. There are also heaters for the colder winter months. The apartment is stocked with complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, milk and a bottle of fine South African red wine (winter) or white wine (summer). Attractions and ActivitiesBeach Road has many great restaurants and a promenade along the ocean that’s great for running or cycling. There is also a children’s playground with a putt putt (mini-golf) course. |

DIRECTIONS: From Cape Town International Airport Exit the airport onto Airport Approach Road (aptly named!). Drive straight for 2.3km keeping right. Take the onramp onto Settlers Way (N2) towards the city (if you're driving towards the mountain then you're in the right direction). Follow the highway for about 12km. Where the road splits, take the Eastern Boulevard route and drive for another 3km keeping to you left hand lane. Take the Strand Street offramp (you'll see the Castle to you left). Drive for 1.6km. Take a right into Bree Street (or left if you feel like letting loose for a party on Long Street) and after about 170m a left into Riebeek Street. Continue straight for 1.6km (Riebeek Street becomes Somerset Road/Main Road, confusing, I know, sorry). Take a right onto Western Boulevard and an immediate left (at the circle) into Beach Road (you'll see the new Greenpoint stadium under construction on your right, or completed, obviously, if you're here for the FIFA World Cup). Drive for about 1km and take a right at the traffic light. Drive for another 1km until you see the Lighthouse (red and white striped). Henley Manor is opposite the Lighthouse next to Bravo (Italian restaurant, pretty good pizza by the way). If you get lost ask a friendly Capetonian for the Lighthouse in Mouille Point.
