Framed by majestic mountain scenery, this 4-star elegant country retreat is set amongst beautiful gardens and working vineyards. Close to the peaceful town of Wellington, guests can combine sumptuous country living with sightseeing, wine tours, mountain biking, horse riding and walking, or simply relaxing by the pool and enjoying the hospitality from our warm and welcoming staff. Light lunches, picnics on the lawn and evening meals are available at the Lodge, as well as an extensive wine list, which includes 5 Mountains Chenin Blanc from our working vineyard. Alternatively, high quality restaurants are plentiful in the surrounding area. With our idyllic and picturesque setting, 5 Mountains Lodge & Spa is also the perfect venue for weddings and functions and provides a tranquil environment for conferences and business meetings. Situated in the heart of the wine region and only 45 minutes from Cape Town, 15 minutes from Paarl and 25 minutes from Franschhoek, 5 Mountains Lodge & Spa provides the ideal base to discover the Cape. AccommodationAccommodation comprises a luxurious Suite which is located near the main Lodge, and 4 stand-alone Garden Cottages. Guests can chose between our light and airy Cottages with private verandas or our Master / honeymoon suite. Our accommodation sleeps a maximum of 16 guests, which keeps the experience intimate and friendly and we pride ourselves on attention to detail. All rooms are equipped with airconditioning and DSTV. SUITE Our Suite, which is also our Honeymoon Suite, comprises of a king-size bed, en-suite Full bathroom, and a separate Lounge. Designed to provide guests with a feeling of luxury and space, the Suite is simple elegance. Double doors lead out to a private courtyard garden. GARDEN COTTAGES Our Garden Cottages are light and airy, and have a 'Provence' style elegance. Each cottage has its own private veranda with stunning views over the vineyards to the mountains. All cottages are en-suite and equipped with a mini bar and tea / coffee making facilities. SpaThe Spa caters for small groups to protect the ambience. Whilst enjoying the wide range of treatments on offer, guests can enjoy the tranquillity of the Spa garden, take a relaxing dip in the enticing single depth pool, pull up a sun-lounger on the beautiful green lawns, or just relax, on the stoep. Prices have been set to ensure that the Spa is widely accessible and that we deliver the value that is one of the cornerstones of 5 Mountains. Cape Winelands ConferencesThe tranquil ambience of 5 Mountains Lodge is perfect for Conferences, Business Meetings and Team Building Sessions. The Dining Room can seat up to 20 delegates in U shape, 25 in Classroom shape and 30 in Cinema shape and the Veranda can seat up to 20 delegates for an al fresco breakfast, lunch or dinner in the summer months. Alternatively, the Veranda has a selection of comfy chairs and sofas, which provide the perfect place for your delegates to relax and enjoy the ambience of 5 Mountains Lodge between meetings. DIRECTIONS: From Paarl take the R303 or from Cape Town take the R44 to Wellington. As you enter the centre of Wellington there will be a large white church on the left. Take a right turn opposite the church down Church Street. Continue on this road out of town for approximately 2 miles until you see the sign to 5 Mountains. Take a right turn here for approx 100 metres and the entrance to 5 Mountains Lodge is on the right. |
