AccommodationBed & Breakfast Accommodation: 18 On Kloof offers five magnificent sea view bedrooms, all but one en-suite and three with private balconies. Bedrooms are tastefully decorated and are equipped with all modern conveniences (TV, DVD, coffee and tea making facilities, ceiling fans, hair dryers, toiletries, luxury cotton percale linen and more). Self Catering Apartment: We also have one self catering flat that can accommodate 4 people. The flat consists of one bedroom with queen size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower, open plan lounge with double sleeper couch, TV couch, TV, DVD and kitchen equipped with fridge / freezer, microwave oven, 2-plate stove, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, etc. Breakfast & DiningBreakfast is served on the deck or in the dining room - both with stunning views over False Bay. Quality restaurants are within walking distance where you can enjoy lunch and dinner. ActivitiesSteps and a short walk take you from the guest house to the old harbour, numerous restaurants, the world famous Bikini Beach (Blue Flag status) and main beach of Gordons Bay, which offer safe and warm waters for swimming, wind surfing, scuba diving, water skiing, yachting and fishing. Canoe hire, jet-ski hire, shark cage diving and sunset cruises can also be arranged. For the golfer there are more than enough courses of excellent standard nearby. You can also just relax on the main deck with a glass of wine while watching the spectacular sunsets. Location & AttractionsGordon's Bay is a harbour village on the False Bay coast with superb sea views looking across to the world famous Table Mountain. It is ideally situated for visits to the many surrounding wine estates (Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek) and scenic drives in the area and is particularly popular for whale watching during the months from July to November. Gordon's Bay is within easy reach of the main centre of Cape Town (60km), Cape Town International Airport (30km) and is a perfect base for exploring the rest of the Western Cape and scenic drives to Hermanus, Cape Point and Agulhas, the most southern town on the African continent. Other interesting places to visit in the vicinity include Table Mountain, Cape Point, The West Coast, Robben Island, the world famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens (Betty’s Bay), Penguin colony at Stony Point (Betty’s Bay) and a few nature reserves. |

DIRECTIONS: From Cape Town International Airport Take the N2 highway in the direction of Somerset West. Keep on the N2 and pass through Strand / Somerset West business area. About 1 km after passing the Shell garage (on right side of road), you will get a sign which reads Gordon's Bay / R44 Kleinmond – turn right. This road ends in a T junction at Gordon's Bay where you turn left towards Kleinmond on the R44 (also known as Faure Marine Drive). About 1.5 kilometres from the fork you will see 18 On Kloof B&B on the left. From the Garden Route On the N2 after Sir Lowry's pass you turn to the left at the sign Gordons Bay / R44 Kleinmond. This road ends in a T junction at Gordon's Bay where you turn left towards Kleinmond on the R44 (also known as Faure Marine Drive). About 1.5 kilometres from the fork you will see 18 On Kloof B&B on the left. |
