Zoutspruit is not only a destination for overnight accommodation, we offer game viewing, hiking, bird watching and a number of interests, ranging from the Ouvolk (Sungazer) to a huge bluegum tree the second largest in the Free State. Watch the cows being milked or enjoy a ride on your mountain bike. Swim in the freshwater pool or relax in the garden. We are 17 km away from golf, squash and a shopping centre with five fast food stores. AccommodationGuest Rooms We offer you our discerning customer 3 star graded accommodation. All 5 rooms have private entrance and en-suite facilities. All linen is included except beach towels and units are serviced daily. Attention is paid to small details such as current magazines and the complimentary tea and coffee facility with fresh rusks and biscuits. The guest chalets are spacious and comfortable, each with a TV set and a radio as well as all the other luxuries and comforts that can be expected for overnight accommodation. Servant accommodations as well as freezing facilities are available. Also, If you haven’t had the chance to buy your holiday groceries, Retha will be happy to stock your fridge for you before you arrive. Honeymoon Suite The Honeymoon suite will take your breath away. A luxury 5* Safari tent in a private setting in the game Camp where the Nyala buck roam freely. En-suite with bar fridge, champagne and chocolates. Thick thirsty bathrobes and towels. FacilitiesDSTV and colour TV. Coffee / Tea tray with home baked rusks and biscuits. Please note all rooms are non smoking. Dogs by prior arrangement. Bar fridge with glasses and ice cubes and wine bottle opener. We are not licensed. You are welcome to bring your own refreshments. DiningThe standard fare is breakfast included, which is an English breakfast. Other meals can be arranged on request and for visitors that will be away for the day lunch boxes may be packed. Special dietary requirements can be catered for. Braai (barbecue) facilities are available. LocationZoutspruit is situated 17km South of Kroonstad, next to the N1 on the road to Bloemfontein. We are halfway between Johannesburg and Bloemfontein and halfway between Mpumalanga / Limpopo and Cape Town. We are clearly signposted from both sides and the roads lead for 2km to the Guest House where the individual rooms are nestled in a cool relaxing garden. Safe and secure parking provided in front of the rooms. Come and experience ...
