Whittler's Lodge is situated on the wooded mountainside overlooking the tranquil Hout Bay valley. This peaceful neighbourhood is filled with the calls of numerous wild birds. It is situated 5 minutes by car from Hout Bay beach & village where there is an abundance of delightful restaurants and shops. The trip to Cape Town, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and Table Mountain is approx. 20 minutes. Hout Bay lies at the foot of beautiful Chapman's Peak Drive - a mere 35 minutes to the famous Cape Point Nature Reserve and within easy access of the Winelands of the Cape. ACCOMMODATION:Whittler's Lodge consists of spacious self-catering, serviced apartments, all with their own bathrooms and kitchenettes. The double roomed apartments are ideal for two couples sharing, or a couple with children who are most welcome. All the rooms have TV with MNet and satellite programs. Our solarium is a lovely airy room, overlooking the forested garden and sparkling pool. It serves as communal meeting place where one can share meal times and sundowners. There are a number of braai (bar-b-que) spots in the large garden which is fully fenced with a security gate and plenty of on-site parking. SERVICES:Our service includes the arrangement of your transfers, and the rental of cars and microbuses. All the rooms have TV with MNet and satellite channels.
