The Whale Watch Luxury Suite
Is spacious and can easily accommodate a small family. The lounge and large balcony overlooks a lovely secluded safe bay where the whales often play.

The Dolphin View Family Suite
Is a two bed-roomed apartment with its own private braai area.

Cowly Shell Suite
Has unobstructed views of the sea from the veranda which is surrounded by a feature rock wall.

Activities and Attractions

Strolling along our beach, you will fine lovely little rock pools. Soak up the sun or splash in the waves? We boast a blue flag beach with good parking, life savers, toilets and very safe swimming within walking distance.

Sport lovers will enjoy our local sport clubs! Our 18 hole Royal Golf Club course is extremely challenging! The Tennis Club and Bowls Club are close to the Kowie River. All the clubs welcome visitors. There is water sports equipment for hire i.e. surfboards, canoes, scuba, motor boats etc. You could explore up river on your own, or go on an organized river cruise or even take a deep sea fishing trip!

Taste our locally brewed ale on Wharf Street (where sailing ships used to dock). Whilst there have a tasty meal in the original stone warehouse which has been converted into an interesting nostalgic restaurant depicting old black and white photo’s of early Port Alfred. Shops and banks are five minutes away.

Ten to 25 minutes drive away are game lodges and the small historic, pioneer town of Bathurst with an interesting Agricultural Museum and one of the oldest pubs in South Africa!

The world renowned Addo Elephant and Game Park is approx an hour’s drive away!
