The historic village of Hout Bay is situated 20 minutes from Cape Town on a road which meanders around the coast offering some of the finest sea views in the world. A five minute drive takes you to long white bathing and surfing beaches - Hout Bay, Llandudno, Clifton and Camps Bay. The World of Birds is within easy walking distance, and breathtaking Chapman’s Peak Drive minutes away. Sunset cruises and Seal Island trips are available from the harbour. You are surrounded by scenic walks and easy mountain climbs. ACCOMMODATION:Reflecting historic ambiance, we have created two Traditional Cape Dutch style cottages offering breathtaking 360 degree mountain views. Each cottage comprises of two generously sized en suite bedrooms. A cot is available and an additional camp bed suitable for children under 12. All good quality linen, including beach towels are provided. Spacious bathrooms include separate shower, bath and toilet. The lounge and dining areas are tastefully furnished including original artwork and décor. Relax in style and enjoy some of the Cape’s finest wine as you barbecue on your own patio while watching the sun set on the surrounding mountains. Enjoy bathing in the chemical free pool at the nearby Manor House. The fully fitted kitchen includes dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee machine. Serviced: Cottages are serviced daily (except for Sundays and religious holidays). Security & Parking: For your peace of mind there is an alarm system and electronic gates for your private entrance and secure parking. The Rare Car Collection: Guests have the opportunity to view a rare and beautiful car collection housed in a purpose built facility at the nearby Manor house. ATTRACTIONS & ACTIVITIES:Other attractions close by or within easy driving distance are Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. The Victoria and Alfred Waterfront - a famous shopping centre which is based in Cape Town’s former ship dockyard at the foot of majestic Table Mountain, local Wine Tasting and wine farm dining can be found at Constantia Uitsig and Buitenverwachting. Good quality restaurants which range from Seafood in the local harbour to Thai Food in a Historic Cape Dutch Manor House are just a few minutes away. Coffee shops are plentiful.
