The apartment is situated on the 1st floor of Golf Beach and is only meters away from the beach. You could either go for long walks along the beach alongside Greenways or try your luck at fishing at this very popular fishing spot. AccommodationThe apartment comprises of open plan kitchen, lounge, dining room and patio, as well as three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the mod cons including eye level oven and hob, large LG fridge and freezer, microwave, large 7.2 kg LG washing machine as well as all the smaller appliances including a coffee machine. The main and guest bedrooms both have sea and mountain views and both have queen size beds. The main bedroom is en-suite with a shower, toilet and basin. The 3rd bedroom is ideally suited for children. It faces the courtyard and has a double bunk as well as it’s own TV to occupy the kids. The 2nd bathroom has a bath, toilet and basin. One can see the sea and the Hottentots Holland mountain range from the dining room and the lounge. The lounge has a TV and genuine leather lounge couches. You can relax and enjoy the magnificent views from the patio. The quality of the furnishings in the apartment is of a very high standard. Great care has been taken to ensure that everything you require for a home away from home has been met. All linen and towels are supplied. Greenways Golf EstateGreenways Golf Estate is a 24-hour secured Golf Estate (9 hole mashie course) on the beach (there is no road between the estate and the beach). Entrances to the estate is restricted and tightly controlled. The estate boasts a 9 hole golf course, swimming pools and tennis courts which guests have access to. There are also walking paths throughout the estate and it is very safe for children to play. Attractions & ActivitiesGreenways is close to all amenities you may need. In the town itself you will find almost everything and if that does not suffice, the Somerset West Shopping centre will meet all your shopping needs. Melk Baai, Strand's famous bathing beach (about 5km’s of beautiful white sandy beaches) is approx. 2 km away and Gordon’s bay with it’s beautiful Bikini Beach is close by. Strand itself is a laid-back seaside town. It is very close to the town of Stellenbosch (10 minutes drive) and the famous Stellenbosch wine route with it’s 23 private wine cellars and 5 co-operative wineries. There are also numerous restaurants and take-aways in the Strand as well as on the wine farms and the neighbouring towns of Gordons Bay, Somerset West and Stellenbosch. |
