The second oldest town in the country, Stellenbosch, with its Mediterranean climate and laid back lifestyle, is world-famous for its wines. This scenic area, with its mountains, forests, rivers and nearby beaches, is perfect for nature lovers.
There's a lot to see and do, including hiking, horse riding and mountain biking, and there are several world-class golf courses in the area. And of course the famous wine farms of the Western Cape.
