The Stables is a holiday home made up of five rooms that were previously horse stables and can accommodate a group of ten guests. The rooms are furnished with double beds or single beds, and share the use of two bathrooms fitted with showers, toilets and basins. Located on the undercover patio, the kitchen is equipped with a 2-plate gas stove, microwave, fridge and tea and coffee facilities. Meals can be enjoyed at the dining table and guests can relax in the lounge area. Free Wi-Fi is available. Braai facilities are available in the boma and firewood is available at an additional cost. There is also a swimming pool to cool off in on the hot summer days.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
