we wanted to express our appreciation for the superior service we received during our lunch visit to your Hotel. In particular, Raphael was very helpful and deserve a great deal of praise for his excellent customer service.

We were staying at the Raddisson hotel,we took a walk to the mall and thought of having light meals at Michelangelo,we were welcome by Raphael the manager,on our sitting down he offered us a news paper, and quickly informed us about the specials of the day, and cakes of the day,on bringing the menus he suggested we try prawn and calamari stir fry, goes well with a glass of porcupine ridge white-wine and offered a bottle of still water, well it was very interesting for such sells experience,he also suggested a miraculous cream brule, which he said it will cover our table with some smoke.on finishing all his presentation he asked us if we were staying in the hotel, and interacted on a few things before giving a hand over to the waiter. This is the service we never receive at Raddison hotel,i real liked Michelangelo experience.we ordered all what Raphael suggested to us and as he said we ended our lunch with a smoke on the table.well done Raphael that was a good choice indeed.
We will definitely be staying with the Michelangelo Hotel on our next visit to SA.Thank you once more again to the whole team.

Regards
Mr and Mrs Roberts

My visit to South Africa was absolutely wonderful! And the Michelangelo Hotel is truly splendid. You make everything flow smoothly and easily. South Africa is a land of contrasts and my stay at the Michelangelo was matched only by the beauty and exhilaration felt at the Zulu village in the Valley of a Thousand Hills!! I am a 64-years old black American born in the rural town of Uniontown, Alabama USA. My land is also beautiful, but my dream of seeing my motherland (Africa) has been superbly fulfilled.
May peace and honor dwell with all who read this note. Sincerely,
Robert L Williams / a.k.a. Abu.Tunkashila

I am privileged to have visited S. Africa 5 times before my visit in 2007. It is always good to go back home after almost 500 years of my ancestry from Africa being in America. I have stayed in the finest hotels in Capetown to the humble yet elegant zulu style village dwellings in ShakaLand. I had even stayed in Sandton / Rosebank before with much satisfaction. However, my stay at the Michelangelo Hotel was fit for the queen in me!! I had a hard time leaving the interior of the hotel to go to my room due to observing the opulent decorations and splendor of the hotel then I had a hard time falling to sleep for peeping at the beauty inside of the room. What a stay!!!!!!!
