The Fairways on The Bay is an exclusive seven bedroom boutique hotel. The Tranquillity suite overlooks the restaurant’s quaint tea garden and enjoys prime access to the beachfront. Mountain Edge suites are situated on the first floor with a view of either the ocean or the foot of Signal hill. The luxurious Ocean Breeze suites offer exquisite views and are ideal for honeymoon couples. All suites are elegantly furnished with en suite bedrooms, king-size beds, satellite television, air-conditioning, coffee/tea-making facilities and a bar fridge.

Tranquility Suite
The superbly furnished en suite room, with king-size bed, satellite television, large dresser, coffee/tea-making facilities and bar fridge, overlooks the restaurant’s quaint tea garden and enjoys prime access to the beachfront.

Mountain Edge Suites
Our Mountain Edge suites either overlook the foot of Signal Hill through an elegant bay window or boast a quaint balcony overlooking the mountains and the sea. Whichever view you prefer, these suites are ideal for a scenic escape.

Ocean Breeze Suites
Two exclusive Ocean Breeze suites, each with their own private balcony, overlook Camps Bay and the mountains. These luxurious en suite rooms are furnished with king-size bed, satellite television, large dresser, air conditioning, coffee/tea-making facilities, bar fridge and a spacious sitting area. These suites’ has softly lit high ceiling, suave ethnic decor and exquisite views are the ultimate in comfort and style.

Dining


The Restaurant on the Bay offers a dining experience which captures the warm, lively ambience of its setting. A widely appealing variety of delectable dishes are offered and the restaurant is fully licensed. For a view of the beach and the picturesque sunset, the garden terrace is the ideal place to relax with a cappuccino or a chilled sundowner.

Conferencing


The Fairways on the Bay conference venue is fully equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, air-conditioning and comfortable seating configurable to almost any requirement. The venue can seat a minimum of six and a maximum of 15 delegates and can be converted to a theatre at night.

The venue can cater for private functions, including breakfasts, luncheons and dinners. The event management team can also assist with creative ideas made possible with themes, lighting, entertainment, music and effects. Team-building events can also be arranged on request.

SERVICES & FACILITIES


Facilities include laundry and dry cleaning services. Secretarial services are available as is a communication centre offering internet access. 24-hour medical assistance is available and hairdressers, beauty salons and masseurs can be arranged on request.

Entertainment facilities such as Playstation games and dvd’s are available in the conference venue as is an entertainment programme for children. Guests have access to the Place on the Bay’s outdoor heated pool, braai facilities and the dedicated poolside terrace bar which opens in the summer months.

Room service is between 07:30-21:30, and a babysitting service, shuttle service, car rental, day tours and excursions can be arranged on request. On-site secure remote-access parking is available, limited to one parking bay per unit.

ATTRACTIONS & ACTIVITIES


Visit the top of world-renowned Table Mountain in a cable car, shop at Greenmarket Square, take a boat trip from the Waterfront to Robben Island, or relax on the lovely beaches at Clifton and Camps Bay.

Any visit to Cape Town must include a trip to Cape Point, the tip of Africa. The Cape Point Nature Reserve, which covers over 22 000 hectares, showcases a combination of dramatic seascapes and soaring cliffs, antelope such as the rare mountain zebra and bontebok, as well as amazingly varied flora.

About 30 minutes’ drive from Camps Bay on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain are the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and for culinary delights, visit the acclaimed restaurants and coffee shops along the cosmopolitan beachfront walkways of Camps Bay.
